Nicole Ilacqua, M.Ed., LPC is licensed by the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Nicole earned her Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio and her Master of Education in Community Counseling from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio.
Nicole has gained experience working in community mental health and private practice settings. She provides counseling for adolescents and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, life transitions, low self-esteem, grief, pregnancy and postpartum issues.
Nicole has completed EMDRIA Basic Training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is a type of therapy that is excellent for working through trauma, painful life experiences or other issues negatively impacting mental health. Nicole has also completed the Postpartum Support International and 2020 Mom Maternal Mental Health Training.
Nicole aims to provide a safe and comfortable environment for clients to express themselves and work through challenging issues. Nicole uses an eclectic approach and incorporates techniques from various therapies based on her client’s needs.
