Ashley Dixon is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with the Texas Board of Examiners of Licensed Professional Counselors under the supervision of Kimberly S. Boyd, M.S., LPC-S. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M in 2009 in Interdisciplinary Studies and her masters degree in School Counseling and Licensed Professional Counseling from Sam Houston State University in 2022. Ashley has worked in public education in a variety of roles for over 13 years and has a passion for supporting families.
Ashley believes that the therapeutic relationship and a genuine connection is key for client’s success. She supports her clients on their journey for behavioral change operating primarily from choice theory utilizing cognitive behavioral techniques.
Ashley provides counseling services to a variety of clients who may be experiencing anxiety, depressive thoughts, anger, grief, struggles with self esteem, or difficulty with life changes.
