Chester Jefferson is a graduate of the University of Houston Downtown where he obtained his B.S. in Psychology. He obtained his M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Houston Clear Lake. CACREP certified

With an intense passion to help others, Chester’s counseling interests are to work with groups ranging from youth, adults, couples, substance abuse, multicultural challenges, depressive disorder, and behavior intervention. Chester understands the stigmas that prevent males of multicultural backgrounds from pursuing mental wellness and has a strong desire to provide therapy to that population. Additionally, he has an interest in providing spiritual counseling as well.

Chester believes the utilization of various theories to achieve productive mental well-being is vital. These approaches consist of Adlerian, Person-Centered, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative therapy. Chester is practicing under the supervision of Kimberly Boyd, M.S., LPC-S of the Kimberly Boyd Counseling Center.
