Chester Jefferson is a graduate of the University of Houston Downtown where he obtained his B.S. in Psychology. He obtained his M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Houston Clear Lake. CACREP certified.
With an innate passion to help others, Chester’s counseling interests are to take up space with individuals of all ages, couples, groups, substance abuse, multicultural challenges, depressive disorders, and personality disorders. Chester acknowledges the stigmas that prevent males and males of multicultural backgrounds from pursuing mental wellness and has a strong desire to provide therapy to the population.
Additionally, he has an interest in providing spiritual counseling as well.
Chester believes in utilizing various theories to achieve productive mental well-being for the client is vital. These approaches consist of Adlerian, Person-Centered, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Narrative therapy.
