He is currently completing his M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Houston Clear Lake. With an intense passion to help others, Chester’s counseling interests are to work with groups ranging from youth, adults, couples, substance abuse, career counseling, multicultural challenges, anger management, depressive disorder, and behavior intervention. Chester understands the stigmas that prevent males of multicultural backgrounds from pursuing mental wellness and has a strong desire to provide therapy to that population. Additionally, he has an interest to provide spiritual counseling.
Chester believes the utilization of various theories to achieve productive mental well-being is vital. These approaches consist of Adlerian, Person-Centered, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Chester is practicing under the supervision of Maggie Chlebana, M.S., LPC of the Kimberly Boyd Counseling Center.
