Hi, my name is Christian Silva. I am currently a graduate student at the University of Houston – Clear Lake (UHCL) where I am pursuing a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I completed my undergraduate studies at UHCL and received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
My work experience includes working as a Care Coordinator at an outpatient mental health clinic where I worked with adults that struggle with a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression and schizophrenia. Furthermore, I am a Spanish-speaking clinician that serves the Spanish-speaking community in their mental health needs.
Although my background consists of working with adults, I hope to expand my knowledge and work with children and adolescents of all ages. My goal is to provide my clients with a therapeutic environment and explore the struggles that are affecting their mental health and interfering with daily life. I look forward to working with you.
