Guadalupe is a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with the Texas Board of Examiners of Licensed Professional Counselors, reporting to Kimberly L. Boyd, M.S., LPC-S. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Guadalupe graduated from Emporia State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2019 and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2021. Her long-term professional goal is to work as a Licensed Professional Counselor, assisting people with daily challenges. She has completed EMDR levels I and II training. She has professional experience providing EMDR to clients.

Guadalupe is committed to providing clients with a safe, collaborative environment in which they can increase self-awareness, reclaim their power, and begin the healing process. She utilizes a person-centered, strengths-based approach that values the client’s unique needs, life experiences, and individuality. She will acknowledge and respect your life experiences, culture, background, and wisdom, while assisting you to understand your patterns and find more effective ways to deal with challenges. Guadalupe believes that in order to achieve the most growth, the client must actively participate. She uses integrative, evidence-based methods to assist individuals who are experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, low self-esteem, abuse, anger management, marital problems, and family relationship problems. Guadalupe enjoys assisting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in developing healthier relationships, practicing self-awareness, and coping with life stressors.

Her deepest hope is that through a therapeutic partnership, you will not only be able to better manage difficult life circumstances, but you will also discover new passions and purpose in your life.
