Hanan Del Rio is a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Houston Christian University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from the University of Houston, with minors in Law, Values and Policy, Philosophy, and Business Administration. A proud member of the Texas Counseling Association, Hanan is currently under the supervision of Kimberly Boyd, M.S., LPC-S.

Prior to her counseling career, Hanan worked as a paralegal, gaining valuable insights into the limitations of assisting clients from behind a desk. Motivated by a desire to provide more personalized support, she transitioned to counseling. Hanan is committed to creating a warm, welcoming, and personable environment where clients feel safe to embark on empowering life changes.

Hanan's counseling approach combines Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She values individuals' personal experiences, emphasizing their strengths and core values. Hanan believes personal growth often requires stepping out of one's comfort zone.

Understanding therapy as a collaborative journey, Hanan is eager to assist children, adolescents, adults, and families. Her experience includes helping individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, abuse, and life transitions. She hopes to support you on your journey to rediscover a happy and healthy sense of self.
