My name is Ivonne Rodriguez and I am currently working towards my Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Houston-Clear Lake and am aiming to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice at the University of Houston-Downtown. My background consists of working with the neurodivergent population, specifically adolescents as I worked as an applied behavior technician prior to pursuing counseling. Although my background consists of working with adolescents, I hope to expand my knowledge and work with children of all ages, as well as adults of all ages. I hope to advocate for mental health and provide coping skills to those seeking treatment and hope to create a safe and nurturing environment for my future clients.
