Life seems to throw unexpected things in our world, which is not in our circle of control. However, how we respond or react is in fact in our control. My goal is to help you deal with conflict in a positive and effective way through empowerment and by providing the tools needed to handle conflict. I am true believer that the problem is not the problem, but it is your attitude about the problem. In therapy we can work together to identify the negative core beliefs, thinking patterns, and replace them with more positive thinking patterns/beliefs.
I utilize an approach of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focus Therapy and DBT Mindfulness skills in treating anxiety, depression, anger, low-self-esteem, Men’s issues, family problems, and substance abuse problems.
