Kandis Bell


I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a Masters of Education in Marriage, Couples and Family Therapy from Lamar University. I earned my Bachelors of Science in Behavioral Science from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. I practice under the supervision of Kimberly Boyd, MS, LPC-S.

I provide counseling to individuals addressing mental health needs including stress, anxiety, behavior, learning disabilities (such as dyslexia and ADHD), suicidal ideation, trauma, grief, self-worth, abuse, and addiction. I accept children beginning at age five, adolescents and adults. I also provide couples and family therapy. I believe each individual has the capacity to overcome challenges they face. My focus is on buildings relationships with my clients, working together to set attainable goals that lead to whole health.

I offer Person-Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Client-Centered Play Therapy. I am skilled in assessing clients to identify their emotional and mental needs, then implementing behavioral changes that can reframe and reset thinking processes, laying the foundation for clients to build a healthier way of life. I also offer Christian counseling at the clients’ request.
