Kayce earned her Master of Education in Counseling and Development from Lamar University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston Clear Lake. With a deep passion for helping others find freedom and contentment, Kayce offers counseling services both in-person at the Cleveland office and through telehealth.
Kayce is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, which she integrates into her eclectic approach to counseling. Drawing from multiple theoretical perspectives and evidence-based practices, Kayce tailors treatment to meet the unique needs and goals of each client, working collaboratively to help them navigate their challenges.
Her areas of focus include trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, eating disorders, and more. Kayce has experience working with pre-teens, adolescents, and adults, guiding them through struggles with grief, stress, communication skills, self-esteem, addiction, and crisis intervention.
Outside of her counseling practice, Kayce enjoys spending time with her family, her dog, six parakeets, and six chickens. She loves camping, biking, swimming, fishing, and cooking. Her faith and close-knit relationships with friends and family inspire her dedication to helping others lead fulfilling, joyful lives.
