Lovy Patterson

Hello, my name is Lovy Patterson, and I am a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Phoenix. I completed my bachelor’s in sociology with minors in criminology and gender studies at the University of the West Indies (U.W.I.), Trinidad and Tobago. I also obtained my graduate diploma in mediation studies and certificates in psychology and Caribbean regional addiction studies (U.W.I.).

I am currently an administrative assistant in a medical environment where I assist patients and our guests with emotional and administrative support, upholding the strictest confidentiality for their safety. Although my experience working in a medical environment has been rewarding, my most valued experience comes from working with different cultures. My goal is to broaden my experience and knowledge working with children, adolescents, anxiety, depression, and clients with various addictions.

I believe in creating a therapeutic healing environment that is safe and respected for my clients to feel empowered in the decisions of their mental health treatment. I am happy to support you on your journey and look forward to working with you.
I am currently practicing under the supervision of Brianna Roberts, M.A., LPC.
