Lucy Connelly

“The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.” -Carl Rogers

Lucy's counseling journey began with personally experiencing the transformative power of support and guidance. This inspired a deep calling to support others in their journey toward healing and growth.
Using collaborative, evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Lucy strives to provide a safe space where clients can feel supported and free to be
their authentic selves. Whether your journey involves overcoming depression and anxiety, addiction, difficult life circumstances, or exploring what wellness means for you, Lucy believes positive change
is possible. She also offers Christian-integrated counseling for clients who wish to include faith in their therapy.

Lucy is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and is supervised by Maggie Chlebana, M.S., LPC-S. Inspired by a deep calling to support
others, Lucy earned her Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling from LeTourneau University and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from
Southern New Hampshire University.

Lucy is a native Houstonian who loves animals and nature. She collects houseplants and finds tending to them very healing and grounding. Lucy loves people, fashion, humor, and a good TV show.
