Luis Saldana is a graduate of The University of Oregon where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Psychology. He is currently completing his Master of Science in Clinical Counseling Psychology at Capella University under the supervision of Maggie Chlebana, M.S., LPC. Upon graduating from his master’s program, his goal is to become a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas.

Luis’ counseling interests are to work with children in diverse age groups, as well as adults, groups, and families on a variety of presenting issues. Luis has an eclectic approach to counseling individuals with presenting issues such as depression, anxiety, anger management, relationship issues, self-esteem, communication, and family conflict.

Luis believes that the client is the leading authority in their lives and in their experiences and with guidance and a collaboration can help find direction and tranquility. Luis’ goal is to create and provide a safe, therapeutic environment where the client feels comfortable to explore difficult thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

Luis is passionate about the work he provides and enjoys empowering his clients to find their own solutions. Luis is a member in good standing of the American Psychological Association of Graduate Students (APAGS).
