Olutoyin Fagbohun is a practicum student at Kimberly Boyd Counseling Center and a graduate student at Houston Christian University in her final year of completing her Master of Arts degree to be a Licensed Professional Counselor. She approaches counseling with deep empathy, authenticity, and a sincere belief that every person deserves the opportunity to heal fully and holistically. She brings a calming, open presence to the therapeutic space, where clients feel seen, heard, and safe.

Before entering the counseling world, She earned her Bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Psychology from Sam Houston State University. She also spent over two years in law school, realizing that her true calling was not in legal briefs or courtrooms but walking alongside people as they navigate life’s most vulnerable moments. That shift was more than a career change; it began her purpose-driven path toward helping others feel whole, not just “managed.”

Her therapeutic approach is eclectic, which means she tailors her methods to each client’s unique needs by drawing from various evidence-based practices. Whether that’s cognitive-behavioral tools, person-centered techniques, or mindfulness-based strategies, her goal is always the same: to meet you exactly where you are and walk with you toward lasting healing in sprit, mind, and body.

She believes healing is not linear and does not look the same for everyone. Her role is to hold space with compassion, offer gentle guidance, and help you reconnect with your inner strength and resilience. With natural warmth, high energy, and a deep well of empathy, she strives to create an environment where clients feel encouraged, understood, and never alone in their journey. She is honored to be part of your healing process
