Robin Robinson, M.Ed., LPC is a Nationally Certified School counselor with a Master of Education in School Counseling. She has acquired her Clinical Mental Health certification as an LPC graduating with honors in both programs. Robin attended West Texas A&M University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Special Education Pre-K – 12 and General Education 1st – 8th. She also received her Early Childhood Teaching Certification with the State of Texas.

Robin is a wife, mother, and an advocate for whole person wellness. She has a wealth of experience with people of all ages. She has extensive experience working with children diagnosed with autism, ADHD, and other behavioral disorders. For several years in a school setting, she has utilized the Why Try approach for students of all ages. Robin has experience working with adults and children in diverse populations with a variety of needs and has a wealth of experience in dealing with grief and the impact that plays on the person and the whole family.

Robin believes that every person is unique and deserves the support and assistance needed to achieve their personal best. She functions from the theoretical lens of Solution Focused Theory, joined with Person-Centered theories, and Cognitive Behavioral Theories. By using an integrative approach, she can support people in understanding themselves, empower them to make their own choices and focus on solutions rather than the problem. This allows them to remove obstacles that are hindering their ability to thrive. Robin believes in focusing on individual strengths to overcome weaknesses by using strategies to assist people in making positive choices based on personal desire. She believes in looking at the whole person and tailoring treatment to the individual with respect to faith, culture, and personal interests to best equip them to reach their desired success.

Robin is a member of the Texas School Counseling Association, as well as the American School Counselor Association, and follows the American Counseling Association Code of Ethics as her guide for legal and ethical practice. She looks forward to helping each client develop the skill sets needed to achieve their personal goals for whole-person wellness.
