Hello, my name is Sharon Thorne-Green, and I am a graduate student in the Clinical Mental
Health Counseling program at LeTourneau University. I previously earned my Juris Doctor, as
well as bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Psychology. My professional career has
spanned law, education, and leadership — currently serving as a district-level administrator
supporting curriculum, instruction, and teacher development in Katy ISD.
Across my work as an attorney, educator, and administrator, I have been deeply committed to advocacy, cultural responsiveness, and supporting individuals through life’s challenges. My desire to serve others more directly led me to counseling, where I am expanding my skills to walk alongside clients in their healing and growth.
I am especially interested in supporting couples navigating separation, individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, or relationship concerns, and clients who value integrating their faith and spirituality into the therapeutic process. I strive to create a compassionate, collaborative, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel respected, encouraged, and empowered to pursue restoration and emotional well-being.
I consider it a privilege to support you on your journey, and I look forward to working together.
I am currently practicing under the supervision of: Maggie Chlebana, M.S., LPC-S.
