Supervised by Brianna Roberts, M.A., LPC

Tiffanie is a Master’s Level Graduate Student Intern at Kimberly Boyd Counseling Center. She is currently pursuing a Master of Education degree in Counseling at the University of Houston and is practicing under the supervision of Brianna W. Roberts, M.A., LPC. Tiffanie’s previous Master of Fine Arts degree has given her a complex understanding of the art of communication and the philosophical approaches to articulating concepts and emotions. She is on a path to developing a universal language that explores emotions through imagery. With this, Tiffanie is developing an eclectic theory that uses trauma-focused theoretical approaches in CBT (cognitive behavior therapy), REBT (rational emotive therapy), Gestalt, and Existentialism. These theories explore our purpose and position within our environment. Effective mental health treatment takes a holistic approach to overall well-being, focusing on physical, mental, and emotional health. Together we will create a plan for better self-awareness to understand your personal growth and needs for healthier emotional regulation.

Tiffanie’s interests include working with children, adolescents, and adults who have lived through trauma, abuse, and grief. Tiffani believes that such experiences can be polarizing, and we can change the language and the impact these events have on our lives through therapeutic support.
