Tiffany Jones is a master’s level graduate student intern at Kimberly Boyd Counseling Center. She has obtained a bachelor’s degree in health education from the University of Houston with a minor in Psychology. Tiffany also has a master’s degree in education from Walden University. She is currently pursuing a dual master’s degree in school counseling and clinical mental health with a concentration on family and couples counseling at Walden University. After completion of her master’s program, her goal is to become an LPC who specializes in couples and family counseling. Tiffany is currently under the supervision of Savannah Burke, M.Ed., LPC. Tiffany desires to utilize Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to assist individuals within the community intrinsically. She intends to help people discover their inner strength by addressing the roots of their internal struggles in hopes of healing holistically through identifying external behaviors and reframing their cognitive thoughts.

Tiffany’s passion for helping people brought her to this profession. Through personal relationships and friendships, she has obtained skills that allows her to listen with empathy and compassion. After reflecting on the content, feeling and the meaning, she is able to guide them to discover solutions that work best for each client.

Tiffany strives to incorporate her strong faith and use her ten years’ experience as an inclusion teacher from grades pre-kindergarten through fifth grade to personalize and tailor individual analysis and treatment plans. Tiffany will focus on clients of all ages with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, crisis intervention and provide everyone with coping skills to navigate through this journey we call life.
